So I posted my first update here in almost two months yesterday.
There's multiple reasons why I haven't been posting here, but mostly I've been very busy, and I have some things to share, observations and insights, and a significant amount of data to back it up, but I don't have the time to share it because I have become a working class slave, but I'm a freelance self-employed slave. How about that? Did you even know that was a thing? Well, it is.
Anyway, I've been very busy lately, and have been postponing going to the grocery store, but I had to go, and I went, but unfortunately on the way to the store I witnessed the most unpleasant thing I've ever before witnessed in my life. I witnessed an elderly woman being run over by a large SUV. She was in the cross walk, but it didn't have any traffic lights. Actually, it's not the first time its happened, multiple people have died, and multiple people have been run over in the same exact spot, and yet they don't fix it.
I didn't witness the actual impact, was about 30 seconds behind, and was the first person to appear on the scene, but within seconds a whole crowd materialized. I didn't know the woman, but she was a senior, probably in her 60s or 70s, and she got hit by a large SUV, and there was a puddle of blood, and she was crying.
So I experienced a traumatic event, and realized that I don't like that, and would never want to pursue a career as an EMT or crime scene forensic specialist, it eats at me, and I don't like it.
And yet if I were to take a personality test, I'd probably answer like I'm stoic and can do it, but I don't want nothing to do with that. I would prefer to perform a role preventing it from happening in the first place.
