So, this blog must be destroyed and it must happen soon. Why? I feel that I must purge myself of all traces of Google. The same is true of Microsoft.
You see I've been scraping by, just barely, by picking up freelance work online, here and there, it comes and goes, pay rate varies, sometimes as low as $12 an hour, sometimes as high as $30 an hour.
Good thing I had a nest egg, or I'd be living on the streets by now.
One of the "gigs" I've been supplementing my income from has been as an AI Trainer. I absolutely hate it, but hey, guess it beats slaving away at a fast food restaurant. I've done retail for almost ten years, like twenty years ago, and I'm not going back to that. I actually for awhile considered applying at Target, but after spending some time shopping in the store, and observing the workers, it was like a flashback to my first job ever in the 1990s, and it would be like taking a wrong turn in the wrong direction, a complete nightmare.
I've never worked in a restaurant, or coffee shop, but I've always been curious about it, as long as the food is relatively healthy, and the people somewhat intelligent, because fast food would be like working on a slave plantation, and I'm not a slave. Luckily we're not there yet.
Anyway, getting back to the original topic: Why must this blog be destroyed?
Well, I've had to give my personal information to a lot of different companies lately, all connected either to this computer, a Gmail account or Outlook, and I feel like my privacy is completely compromised.
So I feel like I need to buy another computer, a used refurbished one, preferably a Lenovo Thinkpad, and install Linux on it, and not use it for accessing any Google or Microsoft services, which means its probably a good idea not to have a blog here anymore.
That's what I'm thinking.
I don't trust either one of these companies, and I definitely do not trust AI, and can see now that it's being used completely for propaganda purposes, to misinform, to misdirect, and to make people cognitively dissonant and retarded, by pushing meaningless information that is either statistically false, completely fabricated, or copy-pasted nonsense, but is so convincing, because it's like a professional liar, with perfect grammar, and it sounds good, and it's coming from a "credible" source, so people will consider believing it.
I see the direction this is heading in. They (As in "They Live") want most content created by AI, which means most websites and newspapers, magazines, and television, basically any written text, or script, being pushed as coming from a reputable authoritative source. It's all going to be written by AI.
Which means the death of the free press, and the death of free speech. I mean you can still talk all you want, write whatever you want, and podcast your deepest and most insightful observations all you want, but if no one else can find it, or if only a few people can find it, well, that's censorship right there.
It's like an Orwellian nightmare.
